•• Small Group Coaching ••
We conduct small group classes so that we can provide close guidance and prompt feedback to all our students.
Each class has only 4-8 students.
•• Term Progress Report ••
Parents or caregivers will receive a personal progress update of their child every term. That means you'll hear from your English teacher in the months of March, June and September each year.
Whenever necessary, we will also communicate the progress of your child or ward to ensure that lessons are meaningful and useful.

Frequently Asked Questions
English Skills That Matter
Based on our experience of teaching hundreds of students from all walks of life since 2009, studying good teaching publications and networking with teaching professionals, we have developed our own unique methods to empower students to read, write and speak better.
You won't be practising exam papers mindlessly. Rather, we'll take you through skills you need to acquire one step at a time. Then, it'll all make much more sense when you tackle the English paper on your own.
Learning only takes place when students are actively engaged. In our classes, you can expect to take part in hands-on activities, contests (attractive prizes to be won!), quizzes and fun group work.

Know Your Teachers
Through the many published articles and videos written by each of our teachers, you get to know us before even signing up for our classes. Feel free to call us and speak to us so that we can understand your needs.
We communicate openly and regularly with parents and students alike. At English Mastery, we are not a faceless entity but people who care about your learning.
We Care About Your Progress
Classes are kept small (4-8 students) so that we can get to know you as well as give you regular feedback on how you are doing. If you take personal responsibility for your learning, we will give you all the help you need.
Parents or caregivers will also receive a progress update every term, in the months of March, June and September each year.
Speaking, Reading & Writing
ALL components of the English exam paper are taught except for listening. In other words, you'll learn speaking, reading and writing skills.
Special Note on Speaking Skills
The speaking component is often overlooked. It is important to start speaking up and build confidence from the start because the Oral Communication component accounts for 20% of your entire O Level exam paper.
In our classes, you'll have the chance to speak your mind and learn to express your opinions regularly (because your voice matters!).
We believe that when it comes to writing, your child needs someone sitting next to him or her, explaining each point in a personal way.
To replicate this in our classroom, we record a personalised video for your child for every single piece of writing done. Each video explains grammar points, vocabulary opportunities and content directions.
Slow down, speed up or replay the video in class for self-paced learning, all under the watchful eye of the teacher. Click here for a sample video.
Speaking, Reading & Writing
Yes. For new students, you can choose to make payment for 4 lessons rather than pay for the entire term.
4 lessons will give you sufficient time to decide if we are a good fit for each other without making a big commitment.
Find out more about Class Schedule & Fees.
Yes, you can. However, we highly recommend that you start the year or at least in the beginning of each term with us.
If you are a new student and you do join us in the middle of a term, your fees will be prorated according to the remaining number of lessons left in that term.
Our sincere apologies for missing your message or call.
Please kindly leave us a message on WhatsApp or SMS (91878924) and we'll get back to you within 24 hours.
What Parents & Students Say...
When I first came to class, I was not willing to try as I had a lot of help for English from other places before but my grades were only degrading.
But over time, the instructor at English Mastery encouraged me to face my challenges again and motivated me to not give up, so as time went by, I managed to see my grades improve.
Thank you for the guidance and advice when I needed them. And just saying, no amount of gratitude will actually be enough to show my appreciation for your help.
Before I join the class, my English results were the last few in class. I got a C5, 59 marks. Since I joined the class, my English has improved by a significant 19 marks, which got me an A1 and I topped my class. I enjoy the class as it is never boring and I always learn new things every week.
